When we talk about galenic preparations we mean all those products that are made in the laboratory of a pharmacy - at least those that are equipped for these preparations - and which can be on medical prescription (magisterial galenics), therefore real drugs, or free use (officinal galenics), which from a strict regulatory point of view fall under the heading of cosmetics and are both creams and supplements with different purposes linked to the well-being of the person.

An important role in galenic preparations is played by master galenics : as mentioned above, these are those products that require a specific medical prescription and are therefore drugs in all respects.
When are master galenic preparations prescribed ?
