Pure D-Mannose extracted from birch enriched with Myrliq® (extract of myrrh), Oximacro® (blueberry with high PAC-A titration) and Xylitol. D-Mannose, Cranberry and Myrrh are indicated in case of acute bacterial cystitis and relapsing cystitis, both in prevention phase and during the acute phase of cystitis. Cranberry extract and xylitol are useful in case of infection caused by non sensitive mannose bacteria.

D-mannose has a strong adhesive affinity to the pili present on the surface of the bacteria that cause cystitis. By binding to bacteria, it prevents them from taking root in the bladder mucosa. The bacteria causing cystitis, such as Escherichia coli, remain floating in urine and are eliminated through urination. Since the right-hand mannose is poorly absorbed by the body, it can also be taken by people with diabetes.

Puroman Act D-Mannose and Cranberry is enriched with Oximacro®, an exclusive blueberry extract with a very high titration of proanthocyanidins (PAC type A). The low temperature extraction technique of Oximacro® allows to obtain an important enrichment of the bioactive PAC A fraction. PAC-A is the only bioactive blueberry compound for urinary and viral infections. This is useful in cystitis sustained by some types of bacteria that do not adhere to D-mannose, but which are sensitive to the proanthocyanidins of Cranberry extract.

Xylitol, like blueberry extract, is added because it is a polyol useful in case of bacterial infections caused by bacteria that are not sensitive to right-handed mannose. Its effectiveness is due to its inhibiting power on the formation of bacterial biofilms.

Myrrh is credited with natural anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, made possible by sesquiterpenes. These are capable of activating opioid receptors. The addition of MyrLiq®, myrrh extract with a very high content of bioactive furanodienes, makes Puroman® Act D-Mannose and Cranberry 70g an excellent adjuvant for pain and inflammation associated with the acute phase of cystitis.

HOW TO USE

During the acute phase of cystitis, take 1 level scoop of 1g of Puroman Act D-Mannose and Cranberry every 3 hours until the symptoms disappear.

During the prevention phase take 1 scoop of 1g of Puroman Act D-Mannose and Cranberry 3 times a day.
