Dosage and method of use NeoBorocillina Without Sugar 16 Tablets
Slowly dissolve one tablet of Neoborocillina Sugar Free Tablets in the mouth every 2-3 hours, up to a maximum of 8 tablets per day. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

One tablet of NeoBorocillina Without Sugar contains:
Active ingredient: 2.4 Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol 1.2 mg, Sodium Benzoate 20 mg.
Excipients: Magnesium stearate, precipitated silica, menthol, mint essence, eucalyptol, citral, peppermint naefco, aspartame, polyvinylpyrrolidone K30, mannitol.
Contraindications and NeoBorocillin Without Sugar 16 Tablets
NeoBorocillin Without Sugar 16 Tablets is contraindicated in case of:
- Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.
- The lozenges are contraindicated in children under two years of age, with a predisposition to laryngospasm and seizures.
- Due to the presence of aspartame, the product is contraindicated in case of phenylketonuria.
Side effects NeoBorocillin Without Sugar 16 Tablets
Very rarely have been reported: hypersensitivity reactions, dizziness, respiratory failure, glottis oedema, vomiting, malaise, sweating, arm oedema, pulmonary oedema, eyelid oedema, face oedema, urticaria, haemolytic anaemia, jaundice . Sodium benzoate is mildly irritating to skin and mucous membranes.

The sugar-free Neo Borocillina tablets, due to the presence of menthol, are contraindicated in children younger than two years of age with a predisposition to laryngospasm and convulsions. They must be used with caution, and under direct medical supervision, even in older children. Furthermore, one tablet contains a quantity of sodium equal to 3.22 mg. People following low-sodium diets should bear in mind that the maximum recommended daily dose of 8 tablets reaches a sodium quantity of 25.76 mg corresponding to about 0.5 g of table salt.
The product does not contain sucrose, therefore it can be taken by those who must avoid the administration of this sugar. The use, especially if prolonged, of products for topical oral use can give rise to sensitization phenomena.
