What are the warnings for Maalox Reflurapid?

Do not use in case of severe renal insufficiency. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the components. In case of adverse reactions, stop treatment and consult your doctor. The product may interfere with the absorption of oral medicines. It is therefore advisable to consult your doctor in case of concomitant intake of oral medicines, which must in any case be administered at least 2 hours apart. If no improvement is noted after 7 days of treatment, it is advisable to consult your doctor. The product may cause a feeling of swelling. Following the instructions for use below reduces the probability of this occurring. This product contains approximately 100 mg (4.4 mmol) of sodium and approximately 36 mg (0.9 mmol) of calcium per sachet (10 ml). Consult your doctor if you are on a low-salt diet, such as if you have high blood pressure, heart, liver and kidney problems, hypercalcemia, nephrocalcinosis and recurrent kidney stones containing calcium. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the package and sachets. Do not refrigerate.
