Preparation H 1.08% ointment 25g is a topical treatment specifically formulated to relieve the symptoms associated with uncomplicated external and internal hemorrhoids and anal fissures . This ointment contains an active ingredient derived from Saccharomyces Cerevisiae cell extract , present in a concentration of 10.8 mg/g . Its formulation is enriched with ingredients such as shark liver oil , white petrolatum and light mineral oil , which help soothe and protect irritated skin. Warnings Polaramine 1% cream 25g - About Polaramine 1% cream 25g it is important to know that:
Polaramin 1% cream is not for ophthalmic use. Polaramin 1% cream is well tolerated but its use, especially if prolonged, may give rise, as with all topical products, to sensitization phenomena. In this case, suspend treatment and institute appropriate therapy. Avoid application on very large areas in the presence of abrasions to avoid systemic absorption. If absorbed, it may cause excitability, especially in children. Do not apply on exuding surfaces, on open wounds, on areas of skin with vesicles, genitals, mucous membranes. Exposure of the treated areas to the sun may give rise to photosensitization phenomena. Discontinue use of Polaramin 1% cream if a burning sensation or skin rash occurs, or if the original condition persists or if irritation develops. Avoid occlusive dressings. The use of antihistamines should be stopped approximately 48 hours before performing skin tests as these medicines may prevent or reduce positive reactions. The medicine contains: - cetyl alcohol and ethoxylated lanolin esters which may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis); - methyl parahydroxybenzoate which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed); - a flavouring which contains limonene and linalool. Limonene and linalool may cause allergic reactions.INTERACTIONS
