Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients listed in section 6.1. It should not be used in children under 12 years of age. There is a hypothetical risk of inducing Reye's Syndrome with topical application of salicylic acid. Reye's Syndrome has been observed after oral administration of higher doses of salicylic acid or acetylsalicylic acid in children. No confirmed cases of Reye's Syndrome associated with the use of Pyralvex have been reported. Due to the ethanol content the medicinal product is not suitable for patients with alcoholism.DOSAGE
Quantity and method of taking Pyralvex 50mg/ml + 10mg/ml gingival solution 10ml - How do you take Pyralvex 50mg/ml + 10mg/ml gingival solution 10ml?
Do not exceed the recommended dose . Adults and children aged 12 years and over : apply locally by brushing (after removing any dentures) on the affected area up to 3-4 times a day. Do not rinse the mouth, eat or drink immediately after application. The patient should contact the doctor if the symptoms do not improve. The maximum duration of treatment is 14 days. Children under 12 years : contraindicated in children under 12 years of age (see section 4.3).CONSERVATION

Do not exceed the recommended frequency of applications. Salicylate toxicity may occur if the recommended frequency of application is exceeded. Staining of teeth, dentures and dental prostheses (see section 4.8). Products for topical use, especially if applied for repeated and prolonged periods of time, may give rise to hypersensitivity phenomena. In this case, stop treatment and consult your doctor in order to establish an appropriate therapy. After a short period of treatment without appreciable results, consult your doctor. Information on excipients This medicinal product contains 476 mg of ethanol alcohol (alcohol) in each ml, which is equivalent to 59.5% v/v. It may cause a burning sensation on damaged skin. PYRALVEX is flammable.INTERACTIONS

Salicylates are highly bound to plasma proteins and may displace other drugs from binding sites. Clinically important interactions may occur with heparin and oral anticoagulants, but these are primarily due to an effect on platelet function rather than on pharmacokinetic parameters.SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Pyralvex 50mg/ml + 10mg/ml gingival solution 10ml can cause side effects - What are the side effects of Pyralvex 50mg/ml + 10mg/ml gingival solution 10ml?
In the system organ class, undesirable effects are listed by frequency (number of patients expected to experience the reaction), using the following convention: Very common (≥1/10); Common (≥1/100, <1/10); Uncommon (≥1/1,000, <1/100); Rare (≥1/10,000, <1/1,000); Very Rare (<1/10,000); Not known (frequency cannot be estimated from the available data). Overdose Pyralvex 50mg/ml + 10mg/ml gingival solution 10ml - What are the risks of Pyralvex 50mg/ml + 10mg/ml gingival solution 10ml in case of overdose?
Salicylate toxicity may occur if the application frequency is exceeded. Overdosage associated with local applications is unlikely, although the extent of systemic absorption of salicylic acid and anthraquinone derivatives is unknown. Systemic overdose following ingestion may lead to abdominal cramps, diarrhea, and possible salicylism (presenting as hyperventilation, tinnitus, deafness, vasodilation, sweating).PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking Pyralvex 50mg/ml + 10mg/ml gingival solution 10ml.
Animal studies are insufficient with respect to effects on pregnancy and/or embryonic/foetal development. The potential risks for humans are unknown. Caution should be exercised when prescribing to pregnant women. Inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis may adversely affect pregnancy and/or embryonic/foetal development. Therefore, PIRALVEX should only be used in the first and second trimester of pregnancy after careful consideration of the risk-benefit ratio. If PYRALVEX is used by a woman attempting to conceive, or during the first or second trimester of pregnancy, the dose should be kept low and the duration of treatment as short as possible. The use of PYRALVEX should be avoided in the third trimester of pregnancy. During the last three months of pregnancy, the mechanism of action of these medicinal products may result in suppression of labor, prolongation of gestation and prolonged labor. Furthermore, it may cause cardiovascular disease (with premature closure of the ductus arteriosus and pulmonary hypertension) and renal toxicity (with oliguresis and oligoamniosis) in the newborn, increased bleeding tendency in the mother and newborn as well as risk of edema formation in the mother. Anthraquinone glucosides derived from rhubarb may be excreted in breast milk. However, at therapeutic doses of PYRALVEX, it is not known whether these or salicylic acid are excreted in human milk. A decision should be made whether to continue breast-feeding or to continue therapy with PYRALVEX taking into account the benefit of breast-feeding for the child and the benefit of therapy with PYRALVEX for the woman.DRIVING AND USE OF MACHINERY
