Seki 200ml 3.54 mg/ml is a syrup to soothe the dry and irritable cough that does not go away and to favor the functionality of the upper airways.
The soothing action on the cough of Seki cough syrup 200ml 3.54 mg / ml is due to its active ingredient, cloperastine. This active ingredient acts on histamine receptors dedicated to the induction of the tussigenic signal located in the lungs and brain, inhibits the urge to cough and calms dry cough .
Seki 200ml 3.54 mg/ml is a totally vegetable-based and alcohol-free product.
The product is equipped with a measuring cap on which the administration values for adults and children are indicated.
Dosage and method of use of Seki Syrup Bottle 200ml 3.54 mg/ml
Adults : 2 small glasses with the dosage for adults indicated on the cap of Seki 200ml 3.54 mg/ml, morning, afternoon and evening before bed.
Children : 2 small glasses with the dosage for children indicated on the cap of Seki 200ml 3.54 mg/ml, morning, afternoon and evening before bed.
Active Ingredients and Excipients Seki Syrup Bottle 200ml 3.54 mg/ml
100 ml of Seki syrup 3.54 mg/ml contain:
Active ingredients: cloperastine fendizoate 354 mg equal to cloperastine 180 mg excipients with known effects: sucrose, parahydroxybenzoates
Excipients : microcrystalline cellulose, carmellose sodium, polyoxyl-40-stearate, sucrose, methyl-para-hydroxybenzoate, propyl-para-hydroxybenzoate, banana essence, purified water.

Hypersensitivity to the active substance and to any of the excipients.
Side effects Fluimucil Seki Syrup Bottle 200ml 3.54 mg/ml
Below is a table relating to the frequency of undesirable effects.
- Immune system disorders: Anaphylactic/anaphylactoid reaction.
- Nervous system disorders: drowsiness, dry mouth.
- Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: urticaria, erythema.
Pediatrics: Clinical trials and post-marketing surveillance with cloperastine have not shown any relevant differences in the nature, frequency, severity and reversibility of adverse reactions between adult and pediatric populations.
Overdose Fluimucil Seki Syrup Bottle 200ml 3.54 mg/ml
No cases of overdose have been reported in adults treated with Seki.
One case of overdose has been reported in a child who took a 40 ml dose of Seki syrup. No associated adverse reactions were reported. The patient was treated with two tablespoons of activated charcoal. Treatment of overdose Gastric lavage is helpful if performed soon after ingestion of the drug. The patient should be kept calm to minimize any signs of central overexcitation: in this case the use of benzodiazepines may be helpful.
Special warnings Fluimucil Seki Syrup Bottle 200ml 3.54 mg/ml
Caution is advised in use in patients with intraocular hypertension, prostatic hypertrophy or bladder obstruction.
Important information about some of the excipients:
- Ethanol (contained in the banana flavour): This medicinal product contains 0.0011 ml of alcohol (ethanol) in each 3.75 ml dose ("Children" notch) and 0.0022 ml of alcohol (ethanol) in each 3.75 ml dose 7.5 ml ("Adult" notch). The amount in one dose of this medicinal product is equivalent to less than 1 ml of beer or 1 ml of wine. The small amount of alcohol in this medicine will not have any noticeable effects.
- Parahydroxybenzoates: This medicinal product contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) and propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216) which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
- Propylene Glycol (contained in the banana flavour): This medicinal product contains 8.6 mg of propylene glycol in 3.75 ml ("Children" notch) and 17.3 mg of propylene glycol in 7.5 ml ("Adult" notch) .
- Sucrose: This medicinal product contains 1.687 g of sucrose per 3.75 mL dose ("Children" notch) and 3.375 g of sucrose per 7.5 mL dose ("Adult" notch). To be taken into consideration in people with diabetes mellitus. Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency should not take this medicinal product.
- Sodium: This medicinal product contains less than 1 mmol (23 mg) sodium per dose, i.e. essentially 'sodium-free'.

Can I take Seki Cough Syrup 200ml 3.54 mg/ml when pregnant or breastfeeding?
No information is available regarding the use of Seki in pregnancy. Although the toxicity studies carried out during pregnancy in animals have not shown any teratogenic activity and fetotoxicity, it is a good prudential rule not to take the drug in the first months of pregnancy and in the further period only in case of real need under the direct control of the doctor. Breast-feeding It is not known whether the medicinal product and/or its metabolites are excreted in human milk; as a risk to the suckling child cannot be excluded, Seki should not be used during lactation.
