Its composition is rich in triterpene derivatives such as alpha terpineol, alpha pinene, myrcene, caryophyllene, methyl isoeugenol and germacrene. Aloe vera is a plant of the Aloaceae family. Aloe vera plant extracts are rich in mucilages which can form a protective layer on the gastric mucosa. Thus they contribute to protect them from inflammation and to soothe any lesions of the walls.
The phytocomplexes originating from Aloe leaves are a concentrate of fatty acids . These help to balance the degree of acidity of the stomach thanks to the natural alkalizing action. They promote proper digestion by stimulating enzymes such as amylase and lipase, involved in the digestion of fats, carbohydrates, starches and sugars. Aloe Vera also has known hepatoprotective and natural detoxifying properties for the liver.
Indicated in case of: acidity, stomach pain, ulcer, gastroesophageal reflux.
Mallow is a plant rich in mucilage, flavonoids, tannins, vitamins and minerals. It has an emollient and soothing action on the digestive system, especially the intestine. In phytotherapy it is used in case of intestinal inflammation, colic and mild constipation, thanks to its natural soothing and mildly laxative properties.
The mucilage contained in the plant can form a sort of gel which softens the faeces, increases the faecal mass and favors its elimination.
